Commitment to the planet

Be Green by Indesmalla was born from the need to promote and commit to protecting the planet, the circular economy and the sustainability of all textile industrial processes. All these concerns, combined with innovation and concern for environmental protection, have led us to develop a collection of recycled polyester and polyamide items, all of them certified with the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certificate.

Circular economy and sustainability

recycled polyester

Our recycled polyester fabrics are developed with post-consumer yarn obtained from 100% recyclable PET plastic bottles. From the recovery of these bottles, the recycled polyester chips that will be used to produce the thread with which we develop our fabrics are obtained through their smelting. This process with PET bottles allows the use of plastic and reduces both energy and oil consumption.

Recycled polyamide

Our recycled polyamide fabrics are made with 100% sustainable pre-consumer nylon. During the polymer production process itself, waste is generated, which is selected, recovered and reprocessed to obtain the recycled polymer. Fibers will be obtained from this recycled polymer with which we will obtain our 100% recycled fabrics. This process makes it possible to reduce the use of non-renewable energy sources and reduces C02 emissions, thus reducing the environmental impact.

With the use of recycled yarns, the consumption of energy resources is considerably reduced, thus helping to minimize the impact of our processes on the environment. It contributes to improving air quality by reducing CO2 emissions and recycling and reusing plastics and waste to generate new materials.

These processes of production and use of materials at the end of their useful life favor zero waste production systems, reducing remains and waste. The use of recycled yarn allows us to be part of a circular economy that helps conserve our planet and its resources.
